Spinach Turkey Burgers
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 cup fresh spinach, finely chopped
- ½ small onion, finely chopped (plus extra for topping)
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Bibb lettuce or buns of your choice
- Toppings: sliced avocado, sautéed onions, extra lettuce, etc.
Instructions
- Prep the mix: In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, chopped spinach, chopped onion, salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder. Mix until well combined.
- Form patties: Shape the mixture into burger patties of your desired size.
- Cook the burgers: Heat a well-oiled skillet or grill over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 5–7 minutes per side, or until fully cooked and golden brown.
- Sauté toppings: While the burgers cook, sauté additional onion in a separate pan until caramelized, if desired.
- Assemble: Serve burgers in Bibb lettuce cups or on your preferred buns. Top with avocado, sautéed onion, extra lettuce, or your favorite condiments.
