Hi, I'm Maya! The founder of Maya Wofsy Wellness. At Tulane University I majored in Health and Wellness and minored in Strategic Leadership and Analytics. I am a certified Health Coach through The Institute For Integrative Nutrition and a Certified Executive Functioning Coach through the Executive Function Coaching Academy.
I have firsthand experienced facing challenges and learning to overcome them to thrive in every area of life. In third grade, I was diagnosed with a long-term memory disability. At first, this felt like a setback, and I struggled to find the resilience and confidence to move forward. But over time, I reframed my disability as a superpower—one that taught me how to advocate for myself, develop study strategies that worked for me, and use my experiences to help others become the best versions of themselves.
Fast forward to my freshman year at Tulane University—I had no real understanding of what it meant to prioritize my well-being. I had heard of the Freshman 15, but I never thought it would happen to me—until it did. I didn’t feel like my confident self, and at first, I believed the solution was to cut everything out. But I soon realized that true well-being isn’t about restriction—it’s about balance. I learned to navigate food, friendships, academics, movement, and self-care in a way that supported both my health and happiness.
As both a Health Coach and an Executive Function Coach, I provide a comprehensive approach to student success—essentially a one-stop shop for personal and academic growth. Many students initially seek help for stress management, but together, we often uncover the root causes of their stress—whether it’s poor time management, inadequate nutrition, or other lifestyle factors.
With expertise in both areas, I set students up with the tools they need to build sustainable habits, optimize their well-being, and become the most successful versions of themselves.
The result: A lifestyle of lasting health and happiness
I take a holistic approach to well-being, looking beyond just food to other key areas of life such as physical activity, relationships, stress management, and overall lifestyle (primary food). I provide clients with a supportive space to explore aspects of their health they may not have considered before, helping them understand how these factors impact their overall well-being. Every single person is bio individual and unique in their own way!
