CrockPot Barbecue Chicken

Ingredients

  • 1.5 pounds boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 bottle Yo Mama’s Classic Barbecue Sauce
  • 1 yellow onion, chopped into large pieces

Instructions

  1. Place the chicken breasts into the bottom of your CrockPot.
  2. Add the chopped onion on top of the chicken.
  3. Pour the entire bottle of barbecue sauce over the chicken and onions, making sure everything is well coated.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours, until the chicken is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
  5. Shred the chicken directly in the CrockPot using two forks, mixing it into the sauce and onions.

Serving Suggestions

This is delicious served with roasted vegetables, a fresh side salad, or even on top of rice, baked sweet potatoes, or in lettuce wraps!
